TENSION SHOCKING REPORTER: CBS FIRES REPORTER AMANDA BALIONIS AFTER MESSAGE FROM RORY MCILROY SURFACES : CBS has dropped one of its most recognizable golf reporters, Amanda Balionis, following a shocking message received from golfing star Rory McIlroy….
The 2024 golf season is over and we have the final list of 2024 winners – and yes, Charlie Hull made sure her name was on it. She finally ended her two-year winless streak by claiming her fourth career Ladies European Tour title at the Aramco Team Series event in Riyadh. This win was truly special for her, and followed an equally impressive end-of-season performance on the LPGA Tour: at ANNIKA, Halle delivered a near-perfect performance, but finished in second place, with Nelly Korda taking home the trophy. He then finished 16th at the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship, which honestly isn’t a bad way to end the year. But it’s not because the season is over that Hull has stopped chasing wins – his fans will only benefit from it now. How? By asking her followers to vote for her in TaylorMade’s “Greatest Hits of 2024” contest. In an Instagram story, Hull encouraged fans to vote, posting: “Vote for me to be in with a chance of winning a Taylormade Driver, Putter and Golf Balls”
Shortly before this update, TaylorMade Tour posted on its official Instagram page about this contest featuring Hull’s standout moment from the Solheim Cup, asking fans, “Does @charley.hull get your vote? We’re giving 5 fans the opportunity to win a Qi10 Driver, Spider Tour Putter, and 6 dozen TP5/x golf balls! Simply hit the link in our bio to select your favourite
Interestingly, Hull isn’t the only one in the spotlight. TaylorMade has also highlighted Rory McIlroy, Nelly Korda, Scottie Scheffler and Annabel Dimmock, putting these stars into a friendly battle for fan voting, with each bringing a different highlight moment from 2024 and encouraging fans to choose some exciting and memorable moments. Scheffler and Korda are both having great seasons and are currently at the top, both have won major tournaments and have several titles on their respective circuits. McIlroy came close at Pinehurst, the Amgen Irish Open and the BMW PGA Championship, but it wasn’t all bad: He won two PGA Tour titles, the Zurich Classic and the Wells Fargo Championship. In DPWT, he won two shots in the DP World Tour Championship, won the sixth race in Dubai’s title according to fashion, and won the fourth victory in the Rolex series.
Taylormade is really grateful for inventing such a wonderful strategy. This competition will certainly not only increase fan engagement, but will also promote the brand used by these elite golfers. This will give fans the pleasure of cheering on their favorite players while competing for the equipment they have seen on golf’s biggest stages. This is truly a win-win, a perfect end to the season for Hull and an exciting opportunity.
