The event will take place in Wolverhampton from Saturday, Nov. 9 to Sunday, Nov. 17. This will be the 18th time the Darts Grand Slam has been held. Phil Taylor holds the record for most Grand Slam titles: six. Michael van Gerwen and Gerwyn Price have each won the tournament three times. Scott Wates, Raymond Van Banneweld, Luke Hamfric, Michael Smith and Jose de Susa have won Eric Bristor Trophy. In 2023, Humphris escaped in the title and defeated Lob Cross 16-8 in the final. The top two players from each group will advance to the playoffs, starting Wednesday, November. The playoff stage will begin on the 13th with the first match of the final 16. This round will conclude on Thursday, November 11th. 14. The quarterly final will be held on Friday in November. The semi-finals and finals will take place on Saturday 15th and 16th November, followed by Sunday 1st November. 17.
This event has been part of the PDC calendar since 2007. Back then, the prize pool already included £300,000, with £80,000 going to the winner. The prize pot was bumped up a few times in the following years, and in 2019 more than half a million prize money was distributed at the Grand Slam of Darts for the first time. From the 2022 edition onwards, the prize fund will be £650,000. Every Grand Slam of Darts participant is guaranteed £5,000 – the prize money you will receive if you finish bottom of your group.
