With the PGA Tour’s successful return to Utah, the Black Desert Championship is now firmly entrenched in history.
The Tour is returning to the state for the first time in over half a century, as the beautiful Black Desert Resort hosts the tournament. The tournament was ultimately won by Matt McCarthy, who himself credited his position around Black Desert on Sunday for his victory.

Before the tournament actually started, PGA player Nick Taylor commented that he was not prepared in terms of the height of the greens and found them difficult to read. However, the course was in good condition throughout all four days, presenting significant challenges for some players.
As you may know, Kim is one of the most active PGA players on social media, and she often turns to X to share her thoughts on all things golf. And today, Kim spoke with X, praising Black Desert’s service and paying special respect to the resort’s staff.
This may be something that is beyond the control of some of the people attending the tournament, but it still has a slight negative impact on the way the event unfolds. Other than that, it was great to see golf in Utah again and in a different environment at times.
