Luke Humphries reveals strange problems with darts, still not satisfied after title win

Luke Humphries wins New Zealand Masters, his first World Series of Darts event, but still not satisfied with past performances

World number 1 Luke Humphries has finally won his first World Series of Darts title at the New Zealand Masters, but he is not satisfied.

With an 8-2 victory over Damon Heta in the final, Humphries won the prize money of £20,000, exorcising the ghosts of past World Series that have eluded him until now. After losing the first game, Humphreys quickly turned the tide and led 5-1. He then sealed the victory by dominating the last three games and showing why he is the reigning world champion. The New Zealand Masters will be the seventh event in the series this year, paving the way to the World Series of Darts Final in Amsterdam. The tournament was established by the PDC in 2013 and saw Michael van Gerwen beat Nathan Aspinall in last year’s final. Despite the World Cup, the World Championship, and the victory of the world of this year’s game, the World Series’s darts were rewarded in Hanfris careers. The 29 -year -old football player acknowledged that he was frank about the problem he faced, and Luke’s “Cool Hand” had been focused on other major tournaments in the past.
